Oceanwalk Project
The wall will have a ten-foot wide deck that cantilevers three feet over new rip-rap. The new seawall will curve around behind the kitchen/dining/lab complex, around the northwest point and finally meet with the existing dock in our harbor, a total length of over 200 feet.
The construction entered its first and most important stage right now. To ensure the safety and the interminable effect of the walk, the piling had to been drilled and poured to the depth of 15 feet. The limestone cap rock is deep there and the pilings had to hold against the hurricane forces.
